Dayton, Ohio—The Department of Emergency Medicine at Wright State's Boonshoft School of Medicine is hosting its second Cadaver Anatomy Procedure Lab for Emergency Medical Services personnel on December 1 and 2.
Nearly 200 emergency medical technicians and paramedics will attend an all-day seminar to learn procedures, better understand anatomy, and to augment their skills in emergency medical care. This unique training opportunity for the EMS community in the Greater Miami Valley gives pre-hospital providers the opportunity to learn and practice lifesaving procedures under the guidance of physicians. The all-volunteer faculty for the seminars consists of emergency medicine physicians and physician assistants from Dayton area hospitals, many bringing experience from deployments in Iraq and Afghanistan. The seminar will be held at the Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
