Bringing Basic Scientists and Clinicians Together

The Office of Research Affairs hosts "Clinician-Scientist Linking Meetings" which bring together basic scientists and clinicians together for various topics throughout the year.

These events are an opportunity to discover collaborative interests and explore research ideas in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere that inspires and encourages innovation. 

Upcoming Event:

May 25, 2017 | 5:00 - 7:00pm | Berry Room, Nutter Center

Timothy Broderick, M.D., Associate Dean for Research Affairs, will host the Clinician-Scientist Linking meeting, This meeting's focus will be "Imaging"

Nicholas Reo. Ph.D., Professor, Biochemistry & Molecular Biology; Associate Professor, Physics and Vice-Chair for Education, BMB will co-host the event.

This meeting is open to all faculty clinicians and basic scientists who are interested in imaging and collaboration. It is an opportunity to find collaborative interests and explore research ideas. There will be food and drinks provided, so come ready to enjoy this evening of science.

     5:00 - 6:00 p.m.:       Dinner, followed by two-minute per person introduction and research interest overview

     6:00 - 7:00 p.m.:       Networking Reception
