Postgraduate Fellowships
Although it varies from year to year, approximately 40 percent to 50 percent of our general surgery graduates pursue subspecialized training. These residents have entered fellowships in surgical oncology, trauma/critical care, colorectal and plastic surgery to name a few. Below you will find a list of the fellowships taken by residents during the past few years. Success of these residents is in part the association they have developed with mentors in the residency program. Mentoring is very important to many of our faculty and is vital to the ongoing success of the program.
