Medical school faculty to present at annual gastroenterology symposium

Faculty members from the Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine will present at the 29th Annual William C.M. Wilson, M.D., Gastroenterology Symposium. The event will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2019, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the Sinclair Conference Center (444 W. Third St. Dayton, OH 45402).

The symposium is designed for physicians who care for patients with gastrointestinal diseases, including specialties and sub-specialties of gastroenterology; hospital and office-based primary care physicians; fellows and residents; advanced practice and registered nurses; other allied healthcare providers, administrators, and students.

Faculty members from the Boonshoft School of Medicine who will be presenting at the symposium include:

  • Gregory Beck, M.D., clinical associate professor, Division of Gastroenterology, Department of Internal Medicine and Neurology
  • Aliya U. Khan, M.B.B.S., clinical assistant professor, Department of Internal Medicine and Neurology
  • Michael T. Loughlin, D.O., clinical assistant professor, Department of Internal Medicine and Neurology
  • Joon K. Shim, M.D., M.P.H., FACS, assistant professor of surgery
  • Cynthia Sheppard Solomon, R.Ph., clinical assistant professor, Department of Internal Medicine and Neurology
  • Glen D. Solomon, M.D., MACP, professor and chair of the Department of Internal Medicine and Neurology
