Open Arms Student-Run Free Clinic seeks physician volunteers

The Open Arms Student-Run Free Clinic is seeking physician volunteers for the first Saturday of every month from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The clinic is operated by students at the Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine under the guidance of Medical Director Patrick Jonas, M.D., clinical associate professor of family medicine.

The Open Arms Student-Run Free Clinic provides no-cost health care to the uninsured and underinsured in the Dayton area while also providing an educational experience for medical students. Patients are seen on a walk-in basis.

Physician Preceptors are required to have the following:

  • Active unrestricted Ohio medical license
  • WSU faculty certificate
  • Copy of malpractice insurance
