Advocates for Rural Medicine (ARM)

The mission of Advocates for Rural Medicine is to serve as a student organization capable of exposing medical students to the opportunity of practicing medicine in rural communities. Through the various events offered by this group, it becomes possible to introduce medical students to the unique health systems, opportunities, and challenges that occur in rural locations. Finally, the efforts of this student organization will be directed toward its ultimate goal of increasing the number of medical students choosing to practice in rural communities after completing their training.
