Anesthesiology Interest Group

The Anesthesiology Interest Group exists to increase medical student awareness about careers in anesthesia. Since there is not a third year rotation for this unique specialty, it can be difficult for students to gain exposure to the field. Our goal is to introduce students to the different careers in anesthesia and to provide them with mentors and resources should they choose to pursue a residency in anesthesiology. We hold quarterly meetings and offer simulation lab experiences for students to better envision what a career as an anesthesiologist might look like.
