J-Shoft

Mission

J-Shoft at the Boonshoft School of Medicine seeks to foster the connection between Judaism and healing. We embark to develop a well-rounded understanding of what it means to be a Jewish doctor while relating medical principles and mechanisms of practice from the perspective of Judaism. In addition, we hope to connect the Jewish student population together with the local community by way of community service, cultural and social events. Although a major goal of J-Shoft is to foster a Jewish community at the medical school, we welcome with open arms those of any other faith and belief to share the culture and sense of community.
