Benefits

Gym: There are two full service gyms at Miami Valley Hospital that is equipped with elliptical machines, treadmills, weight lifting machines and free weights. There is also a full service gym at the Dayton VA, Miami Valley Hospital South, and Wright Patterson Air Force Base that is free to use.
Insurance: Heath, Dental, Vision and Accident Insurance policies are available to purchase through Premier Health partners for civilian residents.
Vacation: Residents are granted three weeks of paid vacation each year. Vacations are not allowed during the last two weeks of June or first two weeks of July. This allows for a seamless transition between years of residency. Only one vacation week is allowed during each three-month block.
Meals: Residents are provided a monthly stipend for meals. There are snacks, beverages, breakfast, and lunch items in many of the lounges.
Educational leave: 7 days
Relocation reimbursement through Premier Health.
Malpractice insurance is provided by Miami Valley Hospital during residency
