At the Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine, our Neurology Residency Program is dedicated to producing future leaders in neurology, patient care, research, and education. Our goal is to equip residents with the skills and knowledge to meet the evolving demands of the field and foster lifelong learning in the neurosciences.

Program Overview

Residents in our program gain hands-on experience in both inpatient and outpatient neurology at Miami Valley Hospital, the Dayton Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Dayton Children’s Hospital, and our Neurology Clinic. They also rotate through various subspecialty clinics, working closely with experienced faculty. Our unique collaboration with the Clinical Neuroscience Institute, a joint venture between Premier Health, Wright State University, and the Wright State University Basic Neuroscience Department offers access to cutting-edge research opportunities and NIH-funded faculty.

  • R1: $63,795 annually ($5,316/month)
  • R2: $65,551 annually ($5,463/month)
  • R3: $67,191 annually ($5,599/month)
  • R4: $68,807 annually ($5,734/month)
  • R5: $71,500 annually ($5,958/month)
  • R6: $74,123 annually ($6,177/month)
