Medical Students Seek Walkers/Runners for AIDS 5K Benefit

DAYTON, OHIO--You can walk or run with your friends and family, enjoy the beautiful rolling grounds around the campus of Wright State University, and help people suffering with HIV/AIDS in India all at the same time.

Boonshoft School of Medicine medical students affiliated with Physicians for Human Rights and the American Medical Student Association will hold a 5K Walk/Run Benefit to support Solidarity and Action Against the HIV Infection in India. The event is scheduled for April 8, 2006, rain or shine. Registration on the day of the event begins at 8:30 a.m., with the event starting at 10:00 a.m. in front of the Frederick A. White Health Center on Wright State's Campus, 3640 Colonel Glenn Hwy, Dayton. Pre-registration by March 25 is $15.00. Registration on the day of the event is $20.00. A t-shirt for race day is guaranteed only with pre-registration. Prizes will be awarded in four different age categories for both men and women.
