Class of 2001 honors WSU staff member with Allen N. Pope Merit Award

Sabrina Stewart-Thomas, M.Ed., predoctoral education coordinator for the Department of Family Medicine, has been awarded the Allen N. Pope Special Merit Award.

Presented by the Student National Medical Association at their annual banquet, the award was given to recognize Stewart-Thomas's success in advising the class of 2001 and is representative of her support, encouragement and advice. The award is given yearly to members of the faculty and professional community members who have influenced the successful matriculation of members of Wright State University's Student National Medical Association.

The students who nominated Ms. Stewart-Thomas for the award stated, "Ms. Stewart-Thomas contributed greatly to our success. She is always eager to encourage or admonish us when needed, and the class of 2001 thanks her for being a willing mentor and friend."
