The Department of Family Medicine faculty practice is on the second floor of the Wright State Physicians Health Center, on the Wright State University campus in Fairborn, Ohio, with Donald L. Clark, M.D. serving as the medical director. The clinical site for the Family Medicine Residency Program is at the Five Rivers Health Center, 2261 Philadelphia Dr., in Dayton, Ohio, with Dr. Lisa Righter serving as the medical director. This is a new state of the art health center designed for team-based care. Both practice sites have partnered with the Ohio Department of Health and TransforMED to become patient-centered medical homes.
Staff members huddle throughout the day to better meet the needs of patients. A variety of students (medical, nurse practitioner, behavioral health and pharmacy) do their clinical rotations in the offices, exposing them to the team approach to care.
Art work from local artists is displayed throughout the WSP Health Center and is available for sale through the Connecting Art & Design Community (CADC).
