Foundations Faculty Exam Review Procedure

Last Updated: 09/02/2026

For Foundations Modules with faculty-generated Multiple Choice Exams (MCQ, non-final exams) which contain a proctored secure exam review:

  1. Students are encouraged to go to the scheduled proctored secure exam review when available.
  2. Then, students may choose to meet with the Academic Support Team (AST) to review questions.
  3. Then, students may contact faculty for specific content related questions.

Students requesting to review exam items with faculty/AST may do so, at the discretion of the faculty/AST member, per the following guidelines:

  1. Exam reviews with faculty/AST may not occur prior to the scheduled proctored secure exam reviews.
    1. For exams with no secure exam review, this does not apply.
    2. For last MCQs of a module, exceptions can be made.
  2. Faculty/AST can obtain the exam taker report prior to the meeting.
  3. Meetings shall be in person by preference, but virtual options can be accommodated for extenuating circumstances.
  4. When meeting virtually, students may not see the exam questions, but faculty/AST can summarize the content of questions. Images may be shared.
  5. Students may not record exam questions in any way (written, screenshots, etc.), but may take notes regarding concepts.
  6. Final Exams: Faculty/AST are not permitted to review individual questions from final exams with students. Rather, faculty/AST can review concepts that are represented on the final exam.
