Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine (BSOM) is dedicated to excellence in patient care, medical education, and professional development. We support 12 ACGME-accredited residency programs and 16 fellowship programs, providing rigorous training in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

Graduate medical education in Southwest Ohio continues to evolve, strengthened by our growing affiliation with Premier Health and Dayton Children’s Hospital, our primary clinical training partners. These collaborations enhance educational opportunities and reinforce our commitment to advancing medical training, research, and healthcare excellence. Wright State University BSOM, along with our hospital and community partners in GME, are committed to supporting quality graduate medical education programs and excellence in residency training and research.

Dayton Area Graduate Medical Education Community (DAGMEC)
Dayton Area Graduate Medical Education Community (DAGMEC) supports the allopathic and osteopathic residency programs in Dayton, Ohio. DAGMEC is composed of the teaching hospitals and Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine.
The DAGMEC Resident and Fellow Research Support Grant encourages residents and fellows to conduct research. Funding from the BSOM will support both new and ongoing research efforts.
