Contracts
Residents in BSOM sponsored programs sign two contracts--the Wright State University Graduate Medical Education (GME) agreement and the employment contract with the training program's hospital HR program (see below). Military residents sign only the GME agreement as they have an existing employment contract as commissioned officers.
- Wright State University GME agreement (PDF)
- Dayton Children's Hospital contract (PDF) (pediatrics, child and adolescent medicine, pediatric hospital medicine, and pediatric emergency medicine )
- Premier Health contract (PDF) (all other training programs not assigned to Dayton Children's Hospital above)
Required Pre-Employment Physical
Residents who are under contract to the hospitals must complete a pre-employment health screening, which includes testing for the presence of nicotine. Military residents will complete a separate on boarding process per USAF which contains the relevant requirements of commissioned officers. See below to view a hospital policy.
