Welcome to the Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine Department of Orthopeadic and Plastic Surgery. The individual sections of Orthopeadic and Plastic Surgery are combined based on a long-standing clinical and academic collaboration between the two specialties at our institution. Each section has its own distinct leadership and curriculum, but we also collaborate on research, education, and clinical rotations to maximize resource utilization. the Plastic Surgery section is under the leadership of Dr. R. Michael Johnson, MD,  MPH. The Orthopaedic Surgery section is under the leadership of Dr. Anil Krishnamurthy, MD. Wright State medical student to receive Excellence in Public Health Award

Megan Smith, an M.D./M.P.H. dual-degree student at the Boonshoft School of Medicine, will be recognized for her involvement in public health issues in the community.

Boonshoft School of Medicine students learn where they will pursue residency training during nationwide Match Day

103 medical students of the Wright State Boonshoft School of Medicine learned where they will complete residency training after receiving their medical degrees in May.
