Welcome to the Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine Department of Orthopeadic and Plastic Surgery. The individual sections of Orthopeadic and Plastic Surgery are combined based on a long-standing clinical and academic collaboration between the two specialties at our institution. Each section has its own distinct leadership and curriculum, but we also collaborate on research, education, and clinical rotations to maximize resource utilization. the Plastic Surgery section is under the leadership of Dr. R. Michael Johnson, MD,  MPH. The Orthopaedic Surgery section is under the leadership of Dr. Anil Krishnamurthy, MD. Boonshoft School of Medicine to celebrate 40th anniversary throughout 2020

Boonshoft School of Medicine's yearlong celebration includes many events in Dayton and around the country and a special all-class reunion on May 15–17.

Boonshoft School of Medicine begins three-year track to M.D. degree

Students admitted to the three-year track will receive conditional admittance to a Wright State residency program, starting with the Departments of Family Medicine and Pediatrics.

Kathrin Engisch named interim dean of the College of Science and Mathematics at Wright State

As a leader in the College of Science and Mathematics, Kathrin Engisch has focused on research in science and math education, teaching innovation and enhancing faculty development and mentoring.
