Welcome to the Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine Department of Orthopedic and Plastic Surgery. The individual sections of Orthopedic and Plastic Surgery are combined based on a long-standing clinical and academic collaboration between the two specialties at our institution. Each section has its own distinct leadership and curriculum, but we also collaborate on research, education, and clinical rotations to maximize resource utilization. the Plastic Surgery section is under the leadership of Dr. R. Michael Johnson, MD,  MPH. The Orthopedic Surgery section is under the leadership of Dr. Anil Krishnamurthy, MD. Wright State renal physiologist Clintoria Williams receives $2M award for chronic kidney disease research

Clintoria Williams, associate professor of neuroscience, cell biology and physiology, will further her research aimed at identifying novel therapeutic approaches effective for chronic kidney disease.

Wright State Rural Family Residency Program receives accreditation

The goal of the Boonshoft School of Medicine Rural Family Medicine Residency Program is to train family medicine physicians who will establish medical practices in rural Ohio.

STEMM Experience at Wright State to feature hands-on research activities for high school students

High school students can explore Wright State’s labs and maker spaces and learn more about STEMM fields on Nov. 19.
