How to Apply
All applications should be submitted through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). Interviews are scheduled by invitation from October through December. Residency positions are filled through the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP). Our typical candidate has both USMLE, or equivalent COMLEX, scores above 210 or “pass” on the first attempt, OR a letter of support from a U.S. medical school or hospital faculty member related to time spent on a clerkship, externship, or observership.
International graduate applicants will not be considered for interview without results of all USMLE steps. If an international applicant has graduated from medical school, the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) must report completed/verified medical education credentials before the applicant will be considered for interview. U.S. clinical experience is preferred but not required. Candidates must have U.S. citizenship or permanent residency.
