Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine Integrated Pediatric Program /Dayton Children’s Hospital has 50 residents (including our chief residents). Each year, approximately 8 categorical pediatric appointments are made to the PL-1 class through the National Resident Matching Program. The other 8 categorical positions are match via the Military system.  Prospective new residents are selected by a committee of full-time faculty, chief residents, and residents from each training level.

The WSUBSOM Integrated Pediatric/Dayton Children' residency program participates in ERAS (Electronic Residency Application Service). As part of your application, we ask for your USMLE score report, medical school transcript, Dean’s letter, personal statement, and 3 letters of recommendation. For more information about the ERAS application process, contact your Dean’s office.

We are conducting virtual interviews during the 2023-24 application season. The Thalamus system will be utilized for scheduling and virtual interviews platform this year. Letters of invite will be sent out by mid-October and applications will be accepted until the beginning of December.
