Professional Development Support
A $1,000 maximum professional development stipend is provided per training year for educational conferences, books, and other educational materials.
Moving Allowance
A maximum of $600 for moves greater than 50 miles and $200 for moves less than 50 miles is provided for new house staff only.
Life Insurance & Accidental Death and Dismemberment
Residents are provided life and AD&D insurance worth two times their annual salary. Additional supplemental and/or dependent life insurance coverage may also be purchased.
Health Insurance
Medical, dental, and vision insurance is available for all residents and their immediate families.
Disability Insurance
Short Term: After a three month waiting period, the resident may receive 60 percent income replacement from the 90th day of disability through the 180th day.
Long Term Disability: After a six month waiting period, the resident is eligible to apply for long term disability benefits for income replacement until normal Social Security retirement age in the event of total or permanent disability.
Family and Medical Leave
Available for 12 weeks in a rolling backward 12-month period.
