How to Apply

Application Information and Criteria for Selection

All applications should be submitted through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). Interviews are scheduled by invitation November through January. Residency positions are filled through the match. Our typical resident candidate has both USMLE Step 1 and Step 2 scores above 210 and a Step 2 CS "pass" all on the first attempt, OR a letter of support from a U.S. medical school or hospital faculty member related to time spent on a clerkship, externship or observership.

International graduate applicants will not be considered for interview without results of all USMLE steps. If an international applicant has graduated from medical school, the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) must report completed/verified medical education credentials before the applicant will be considered for interview. Most candidates selected for interview will have graduated in 2008 or later. Candidates must have U.S. citizenship or permanent residency. U.S. clinical experience is preferred but not required.
