In the past few years, the BSOM faculty seed grant program has had a slightly different emphasis, such as a junior faculty award to support diversity in research, translational research, collaboration of investigators from two BSOM departments, collaboration of basic science and clinical science investigators, and collaboration between a funded and unfunded investigator.
