Christopher Sears, M.D. completed the Internal Medicine residency program at Kettering Medical Center, where he was awarded the Albert Brust Excellence in Residency award. He is currently the medical director for Tiffin Mercy Hospital’s Hospitalist service and was recently awarded the 2021 Physician Excellence in Mission award award for the third time.

He has been honored as teacher of the year for the child psychiatry fellowship at Cleveland Clinic in 2018 and 2020, and at Akron Children’s in 2022. He and his wife Yue Yuan, M.D. ’11, have two children, Ethan (8) and Avery (4).
