Accolades and Concerns Portal

The Accolades/Concerns Portal is a mechanism through which both accolades of highly desirable behavior as well as concerning behavior on the part of students, faculty, and staff can be reported by anyone in our community.

The system should be used for reporting incidents only and should not be used for emergencies. All requests for emergency assistance – for medical, personal, or other reasons should be directed to the Police Department by calling 911, or by contacting the Wright State University Police Communications Center, 060 Allyn Hall, at 937-775-2111.

The faculty and resident accolades/concerns portal will help monitor our learning environment to enhance positive and mitigate negative influences on professionalism and correct professionalism violations. Faculty and resident accolades/concerns will be routed to the attention of the Associate Dean of Faculty Affairs. Student and staff accolades/concerns will be routed to the attention of the Associate Dean of Student Affairs and Admissions.

The Accolades/Concerns Portal allows users who submit Concerns to distinguish between Feedback or a Violation. Feedback is intended to be educative and for the benefit of the recipient. It provides a new prospective on a behavior that can be changed and is pertinent to the future. Violation is a report of some breach of the honor code, a standard, policy of the Boonshoft School of Medicine, or other regulation or law. Alleged violations will be evaluated and acted upon according to the policies found in the Medical Student Handbook, Faculty and Clinical Affairs Policies, or Resident Manual.
