For Foundations Modules with faculty-generated (non-NBME) Multiple Choice Exams which contain a proctored secure exam review:
Students are encouraged to go to the scheduled proctored secure exam review, then to meet with the Academic Support Team to review questions (optional), then students may contact faculty for specific content related questions.
Students requesting to review incorrect exam items with faculty may do so, at the discretion of the faculty member, per the following guidelines:
- Exam reviews with faculty may not occur prior to the scheduled proctored secure exam reviews.
- For exams with no secure exam review, this does not apply.
- For last MCQs of a module, exceptions can be made.
- Faculty can obtain the exam taker report prior to the meeting.
- Meetings shall be in person by preference, but virtual options can be accommodated for extenuating circumstances.
- When meeting virtually, students may not see the exam questions, but faculty can summarize the content of questions. Images may be shared. Students may not record exam questions in any way (written, screenshots, etc.), but may take notes regarding concepts.
- Faculty are not permitted to review individual questions from final exams with students. Rather, faculty can review concepts that are represented on the final exam.
