Current Fellows

Professional Interests:

Prior to starting his fellowship program at Wright State University, he worked with UnitedHealth Group as Senior Medical Director UnitedHealthcare National Accounts and as National Medical Director, Telehealth at Optum. 

Dr. Bess is board certified in family medicine and has extensive clinical experience in urgent and emergency care. 

Personal Interests and Hobbies:

Flying, boating, skiing, and traveling to the Caribbean

Professional Interests:

Armika Collins is a board-certified family medicine physician. 

Armika has a passion for serving medically underserved and marginalized communities. She is looking forward to her year of addiction medicine training and learning the most effective way to serve those with substance use disorders. 

Personal Interests and Hobbies:

Her hobbies include making beaded jewelry and traveling. She's also been known to try a myriad of adventures, including skydiving, kayaking and spelunking.
