20th Anniversary Kick Off Event
September 26, 2024

Our 20th-anniversary festivities began with an inspiring reception attended by over 100 alumni, students, faculty, and community partners. Dr. Walter Reiling III, Chief Medical Informatics Officer at Premier Health, delivered a keynote on the transformative power of AI in healthcare and public health, setting the tone for the journey ahead. A networking reception celebrated innovative learning between students and alumni. The event was a successful start to celebrate where we are, where we have been, and where we are headed.

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer
October 12, 2024

In collaboration with counseling and wellness services, faculty, students, and staff completed a Making Strides 5K walk sponsored by the American Cancer Society. Together at Day Air Ballpark, we walked, raised awareness, and honored those affected by the disease. As public health practitioners, events like this remind us of the importance of community work toward a cause that touches us all. Thank you to all that participated and donated!

Public Health Night Out at Wright State University Basketball

The spirit of public health was alive at Wright State as we cheered on the Raiders during an unforgettable basketball game. This event not only brought us together as a community but also reminded us of the importance of camaraderie and celebrating shared successes.

Beyond the Bachelor’s Degree

Undergraduate students gained insights into the benefits of public health education from our Beyond the Bachelor’s Degree panel, featuring MPH and health professional students. They shared advice on graduate school applications and careers, sparking a lively discussion that inspired attendees.
