About the Program
Established with a founding gift from Mr. Ken Dahms, former faculty and lifelong public health advocate, this program seeks to recruit and retain graduate students into the public health profession by offering tuition-supporting scholarships.
Award Amount
- The scholarship amount is $1000
- The award will be granted to one student.
- The scholarship is not renewable, but previous recipients may reapply and be considered through the application process.
Scholarship Criteria
To qualify, applicants must:
- Demonstrate financial need, as determined by the Boonshoft School of Medicine's Office of Financial Aid.
- Be in good academic standing.
- Show an interest in working for public health organizations in Raider Country.

The Graduate Tuition Scholarship Program (GTS) and other select university awards may not be combined with this or other scholarships.
